PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning)

Scone Public School is committed to the delivery of a strong and negotiated shared Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) system.

These PBL Focus Expectations were developed by each sector of our school community and reflect the ideals we all share.

Students of Scone Public School will complete their primary school years with these expectations firmly entrenched because the school and home have formed a partnership to do so.

Bluey is our PBL mascot. He is key in the implementation of PBL within our school. Classes can earn Bluey in their classroom for displaying positive behaviour during our K-2 and 3-6 assemblies. Bluey loves looking for children who are being respectful, responsible and considerate.

If you would like more information about PBL at Scone Public School please don’t hesitate to ring our school or have a look at the information on the NSW DEC Website.

Students can earn 'Little Rippers' for displaying positive behaviour in the playground and the classroom. These cards care collected as a class and once the class tub is full students have a class rewards. Tickets are then empties into a big box to work towards a whole school Rewards Day.

Bluey loves exploring our school and helping children learn.
