Sport Programs


Students in Year 4-6 can elect to try-out for competitive PSSA teams.  The current offerings are; soccer, basketball, touch football, rugby league and netball.

Students with particular talents are encouraged to attend the Hunter trials for their chosen sport.



Swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals are held throughout the year for students to have fun, show their skills and talents and have an opportunity to move on to the next level of competition including zone, regional and state level competitions.

Proficient riders have an opportunity to participate in Horse Sport carnivals throughout the year.

Gross Motor

All Kindergarten students particpate in the Gross Motor program to develop fundamental movement skills



Students in Year 2-6 engage in the Intensive swimming program to develop their swimming skills.

Proficient swimmers in the older grades participate in the Stroke Correction program to refine their swimming skills.


Alternate Sport

Students in Year 3-6 participate in the Alternate Sport program to provide them with an opportunity to try a new sport including golf, tennis, and aerobics. We utilise local sporting facilities and expertise within the Scone community.
