Setting up parental controls and monitoring your child’s use of social media is a step and conversation that needs to happen before a child is given access to devices and in particular, social media. Helping your child navigate friendships via social media and knowing what to do when things don’t go to plan is part of educating your child to be safe and appropriate online.
