A year at our school
Year 6 Experience Their First Day of High School at Scone High School Transition Day
Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of hands-on and interactive lessons designed to showcase the diverse subjects offered at high school. They participated in Metal Work, Entertainment classes, Drama, History and Maths.
The Transition Day was not only a fantastic educational experience but also a valuable opportunity for Year 6 students to meet new teachers, make new friends, and feel more comfortable about the move to high school.
Swimming Carnival
It has been a busy start to the term with our school Swimming Carnival and the UHPSSA Swimming Carnival.
Our school carnival was well supported with many students participating for the first time and other students building their confidence to participate in more events than previous years.
We had 35 students represent our school at the UHPSSA Swimming Carnival and three have been successful enough to make it to the Hunter Swimming Carnival.
SRC Induction
Congratulations to our Semester 1 Student Representatives who were inducted in Week 4. Thank you to our guest speakers Deputy Mayor Pat Ryan and Cameron and Carolyn from Scone High School.
"Love Scone Public. Since moving here we have been welcomed with open arms. Couldn't speak highly enough about the school” — a parent of Scone Public School
"Just keep doing what you’re doing - my kids love the school and I’m extremely happy with the amount of care they receive daily” — a parent of Scone Public School
