School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Term 1 Day 1

Date: Monday 2 February 2026

Time: 9:15am

Our first day back for 2026, all current students will meet with their 2025 classes for the first session and will be directed to their new classes from there.

Kindergarten students will start at 10:00am on their first day, meeting at the front of the school. They will be collected for the first week from the "Daises" at 3.00pm.

Kindergarten students will start a regular day of 9:15am to 3:15pm on Monday 9 February. A bus safety course will be held on Monday 9 February - once this is completed, they will be able to start catching the bus.

Best Start program

The Best Start Assessment identifies student’s literacy and numeracy skills on entry to Kindergarten. It has been conducted in all NSW public schools since 2010. The assessment is conducted in line with existing school practices and builds upon teaching and learning programs that support students in the transition to school.

Kindergarten students will complete their Best Start Interview during school hours.

Bookings are not necessary.

Swimming Carnival

Our first carnival for 2026 is our Swimming Carnival which will be held on Wednesday 11 February for students turning 8 or older in 2026.
