Performing Arts

Music

Students have the opportunity to participate in band and choir groups, including signing choir.

Our Year 4 Band program gives every student the experience of learning an instrument under the expert tuition from Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music (UHCM) tutors.

Private music tuition is also available through the UHCM. 

Visual Arts

Students are extended in the area of Visual Arts through specialist classes.

We offer Wellbeing Art Groups that allows students to express themselves through this medium. 

Students who show an interest and talent for visual arts can join the Extension Art group. Students are encouraged to build on these skills via individual and group projects.   

Students have also worked on projects that are showcased around the school and the community. 

Dance

A variety of dance groups are available as an extra-curricular activity with opportunities to perform at Dance Festivals, School Spectacular and Eisteddfods. 

Speech

Public Speaking, choral verse and poetry are areas where Scone Public School students excel.

Through our debating program students have learnt the confidence and skills to effectively articulate their voice.  

Drama

Our Drama program and groups provides wonderful outlets for creative expression and imagination with students involved in productions, both on stage and behind the scenes.   

Concert

The school holds a whole school concert every two years showcasing the talents of all students.
